Our Facilities
You'll enjoy exclusive use of Harefield Barn, the garden and surrounding meadow for the duration of your booking, including free parking for 50+ cars.
What's Included:
- Exclusive use of the Barn, grounds and large car park for the duration of your two day reservation.
- Full Licence enabling you to use anywhere on the grounds or any of the seven designated areas within the Barn for your legal marriage ceremony
- Underfloor heating throughout the downstairs area keeps everything lovely and warm all year round, with a Wood burning stove in the comfortably furnished Bar for an extra cosy atmosphere (supplied with all your logs).
- Chairs and round tables for your ceremony and reception, including 3 high chairs for the little ones and enough trestle tables for your top table.
- A fully staffed and stocked bar (opening times to be agreed)
- All the glassware needed for your drinks.
- Round cake table and additional side tables if required, along with a Large Easel with Blackboard and original red Victorian post box for your cards.
- A beautiful Vintage cart which was originally made to sell oysters collected in the Exe Estuary, and is now perfect for all manner of uses, from serving your welcome drinks or cake and evening food, to a sweet cart or somewhere to place the postbox for cards and gifts.
- Selection of garden furniture to seat up to 60 on the terrace and under the spreading lime tree.
- Large fire pit, supplied with logs.
- Staff to take care of moving furniture as required during the day.
- Full clear down service at the end of the evening and gathering your belongings together ready for collection the net morning.
- Help and support throughout your planning process and a member of staff on site throughout your booking to help coordinate your day.
- Spacious catering kitchen with just about everything your caterer will need including a large fridge to chill your own drinks ready for the big day.
- Interactive Sound and Lighting system.
- Ladies, Gents and Accessible loos complete with a selection of toiletries and baby changing facilities, as well as plenty of space for hanging coats.
- Allocated parking area adjacent to the bar for visiting catering vans (including electric point)
- Essential amenities such as parking, electricity, water, heating, along with waste collection and recycling.
What's Not Included:
- A caterer for all your food (who would normally provide table linen, cutlery and crockery and any additional catering equipment needed depending on your choice of menu).
- Choice of welcome drinks, wine for the tables and toast drink from our own curated list.
- A security deposit of £500 which will be returned within 14 days of your wedding less any reductions if required for breakages, damage to the building or grounds, or excessive clean-up.
- Early opening on the morning of the wedding or additional bar opening before the ceremony.
- We offer a small selection of hire items including giant garden games which are charged separately.
