Harvesting the cider apples in our beautiful orchards is well underway now in the lovely autumn sunshine.  With Robert on the tree shaker and Sam on the harvester, it’s wonderful to see the crop coming in thick and fast.  The bittersweet apples are not something you would want to eat, but there’s nothing quite like them for producing delicious cider.
