With a nip in the air in recent evenings and the leaves on our virginia creeper turning an amazing dark bronze, it’s hard to ignore that Autumn is on its way.  In a couple of weeks, this bronze foliage will turn into a fabulous flame display before being shed by the plant for its dormant period over the winter.

As Autumn rolls into winter, we are joining forces with the brilliant team from LAP Food and Bars to bring you a special feast for All Hallows Eve.

In spite of the fact that they couldn’t see the finished result, Ray and Catherine loved what they could see and booked to hold their big wedding for family and friends in April 2020.

I have recently received some great news; somewhat unrelated to Harefield Barn, but nonetheless a personal joy which I wanted to share.

A little while into lockdown I was contacted by Brandon Apps, a local filmmaker and photographer who asked if he could come to Harefield Barn and make a short film. 

Just over a year ago, it was an honour and pleasure to conduct the ceremony celebrating my brother Ian’s marriage to his beautiful bride Chloe in the grounds of their stunning waterside home near Bideford.
